After graduating from Sheridan College with an Advertising Diploma, Ryan joined the ranks of Metroland Communications in Oakville, Ontario as an Advertising Consultant. Two years later, he was transferred to St. Catherines to help Metroland build its Niagara operations.
After the birth of his son Owen, Ryan decided to move back to his hometown of Petrolia. He quickly found work with Blackburn Radio in Sarnia as a Sales Representative.
A short while after, he felt the need to go out on his own and SA&P was born.
